The reason behind starting Jalapeno Health, my Nutritional practice, was rooted in my personal weight struggles during childhood. Growing up in an Asian household, I experienced love through calorie-dense foods, which eventually led me to become an obese adolescent. In my pursuit of finding ways to lose weight and accept my body, I tried various "fat-blasting diets."
I founded Jalapeno Health to provide a gentle and supportive approach to nutritional coaching, and I invited Marysol Zaragoza, RD, to join me in my group practice to bring her expertise to our clients. Our goal is to help you thrive on your wellness journey by customizing your favorite foods to meet your unique nutritional needs.
We take the time to understand your lifestyle, food preferences, and comfort level with cooking and food prep, to coach you on how to work through food triggers, practice mindful eating, and re-establish your relationship with food. Our approach is designed to help you develop sustainable healthy eating habits that don't leave you feeling deprived, ultimately leading to a healthier and happier life.
